M. Jones & Associates, P.A. has provided quality
counseling for individuals, couples, and Families, from a
Christian Perspective for the past 15 years, and continues to

area.
Mission It
is my mission to provide quality counseling to My clients, to
help them reach the greatest level of emotional and relational
health they are capable of. I desire for the field of
mental health, and Christianity to be represented in a manner
that will cause respect for both; that all the lives I touch
will be blessed by our interaction
together.
The Following is a Statement of Belief utilized
by Shane M. Jones and Associates, P.A.:
There exists only one God, creator and sustainer
of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally co-existing in
three persons- Father, Son and Holy
Spirit.
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments are
the inspired and trustworthy Word of God, the complete
revelation of His will for the salvation of human beings and
the final authority for all matter about which it speaks.
Human Nature derives from two historical persons, male
and female, created in God’s image. They were created perfect,
but they sinned, plunging themselves and all human beings into
sin, guilt, suffering, and death.
The death of Jesus Christ and his bodily
resurrection provides a substitution for us, and the only
ground for justification, forgiveness, and salvation for all
who believe. Only those who trust in Him alone are born of the
Holy Spirit and are true members of the Church; only they will
spend eternity with Christ.
The Holy Spirit is the agent of regeneration and
renewal for believers in Jesus Christ. He makes the presence
of Jesus Christ real in believers, and He comforts, guides,
convicts and enables believers to live in ways that honor
Christ.
Ministry to persons acknowledges the complexity
of humans as physical, psychological, social, and spiritual
beings. The ultimate goal of Christian counseling is to help
others move to a personal wholeness, interpersonal competence,
mental stability, and spiritual
maturity.
(Adapted from Code for American
Association of Christian Counselors)
Philosophy I believe that seeking counseling
from a professional counselor is not stepping outside of God’s
will or a lack of faith in God. I respect a client’s
right to self-determination especially in regards to spiritual
issues. My desire is to be yielded instrument of God,
seeking His will in how He would have me intervene with those
whom I counsel with. My goal with each client is that they
feel safe, respected, cared about, and that God be glorified
in our work together.
